Open House + Victorian Holiday Traditions: A Lecture & Workshop by Caroline Bellios
December 3, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Sunday, Dec 3! We open our doors to you & yours at Department of Curiosities, our shared studio/shop, for an Open House & Workshop, led by fashion historian Caroline Bellios. Pop in anytime between 2–6 pm for wassail punch and to pick up holiday gifts such as the blanket pictured above, made of our custom textile, ZagSwag! We will also have lots of great holiday party and NYE options on hand from the three lines on offer at our shop.
At 4 pm, historian & designer Caroline Bellios leads us thru a hands-on workshop to create Victorian holiday trimmings including pomanders … The event is free and open to all.
In the spirit of the season we will be accepting donations to Chicago Women’s Health Center. Join us for our second annual Saturnalia festivities: a celebration of the light in the dark!
The lecture and workshop are free and open to all. To the honor the season, we will be accepting donations to the Chicago Women’s Health Center.
Here’s a classic photo of me to get you into the holiday spirit!
