Wrap yourself up in the soft textures of felted merino wool and cotton. Wear it as a poncho with your hands through the bound buttonhole opening. Pin a lapel back for a more mod look, playing with the curved geometric cut and wending stripes of the cloth. Or belt it to create a jacket effect and to accent the waist.

The edges of the cape are finished using the selvedge edges of the fabric to further the feathery feel of the piece. A selvedge edge serves as the removable belt as well.

One size fits most from size 0-12. Model is 5'10" and a size 4-6. For additional sizing, please contact us.

This cape is made of a custom merino wool & cotton textile called “Carvings”, designed and woven in Chicago by The Weaving Mill, based on drawings by artist Nuria Montiel. After coming off the loom, the fabric is  felted slightly to create a textural play between the merino wool and the more stable cotton. The result is a soft, warm, and breathable cloth, reminiscent of a lightweight blanket.

Each piece comes with a pin made of matching fabric, to decorate and arrange the cape to your liking.

All pieces are cut and sewn in our Logan Square workshop using a slow fashion model of manufacture and can be customized to your measures and preferences.

Made in-house in the USA
